Our Programs & Curriculum
Helpful Hands Learning Center is a licensed childcare and early education facility serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years with a play-based curriculum that makes learning joyful and engaging.

Age-Based Programs
Our programs are structured by developmental stage to ensure every child receives age-appropriate care and education. From infant nurturing (6 weeks–18 months) through toddler discovery, preschool readiness, Pre-K academics, and school-age enrichment — each program builds on the next to create a continuous path of growth.

Creative Curriculum
Our curriculum blends academics, literacy, science, and social skills through hands-on play. Children experience both structured and unstructured daily activities including indoor and outdoor play, designed to develop self-help skills, motor development, music appreciation, and language acquisition in an environment where curiosity drives discovery.

Sensory Play & Exploration
Our sensory play stations use specialized "Helping Hands" tool sets — tweezers, scoopers, droppers, and tongs — to develop fine motor skills. Sensory bins filled with water, rice, beans, sand, and water beads encourage tactile exploration. Children engage with pompoms, buttons, beads, playdough, textured fabrics, and sensory bags to build cognitive and creative skills through hands-on discovery.

Full-Service Childcare
We provide comprehensive services including full-time daycare, preschool education, CACFP nutritious meal programs, Title XX acceptance, Bright Wheel parent communication, and before/after school transportation to select schools. Our goal is to support the whole family — not just the child — so parents can work with confidence.

Our staff meet Ohio state licensing standards for childcare professionals. Team members hold minimum high school diplomas or equivalents, with many lead teachers holding Associate's or Bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
